  15. dmerritt4ever on November 5, 2018 at 7:15 pm

1st: not a new principle of construction, but its nice they they simplified it to a easy to lay manufactured piece.
2nd: its a waste of time, people just need to not walk in the road, and if a driver was to distracted to see a person in front of there vehicle, then there to distracted see the road changing lights and be able to react in a half sec.
3rd: those are not new, they have been on the highways of where i live for over 30 years(probably longer) and i live in a town of only 10k-15k people.
4th: more people stopped because there was some form of entertainment, people wont always be dancing there, and its affects will vanish once people no longer see it as a cool new thing and grow board of it.
5th: once again, not new, my town has had for about 20 years and its probably been around longer than that. (i did allways wonder what they where for)
6th: it will pop after not very long. maybe its more resilient in there factory tests, but come on, how often does someone get a flat tire? now imagine if your "tire" could get popped by a small sharp pebble.
7th: the roads going to be closed for like, 5 hours! just to patch a few small holes. it would be WAY faster to just have the guy walk along the road and patch them by hand.
8th: no mater what, welding is not a super accurate job, nor does it produce good looking results with out serious sanding. and i guarantee, the amount of time its takes to program and execute the task on that, the job would be done faster and better by hand. (not to say i dont think it has potential, its just very far off of being practical)

  24. Dan V on November 5, 2018 at 7:30 pm

Smart Crossing is going to be expensive as hell. People need to cross where there is crosswalk. Probably the worsts idea yet.

  25. Keebster on November 5, 2018 at 7:36 pm

And all thats really needed to help strengthen roads is to mix rubber chunks from old tires with the asphalt and then make the asphalt about 2 to 3 inches thicker.

Do you like people viewing your videos?
Your video is 10 min. long, but the commercials make it almost 20 minutes if you were to just watch all of them.
You think we are here to watch your commercials? Or watch your videos? Take your pick, but I would stick with the latter than the commercial adds you are bombarding us with.

one day grandchildren will not believe that we used to shove human bodies into mechanical pods and HURL them DIRECTLY at each other at HIGH SPEED going in opposite directions, separated by a razor’s edge.  "Go on grandma! … surely humans could not have been THAT stupid… could they?"
