Or did he FALL for it?

Now that’s technology, with a noble purpose! Here’s hoping all exoskeleton use follows suit, rather than being weaponised . .

  16. Joneseskid on November 25, 2018 at 2:18 am

    That’s worthwhile!!
I never liked robots, even from childhood. Robot’s are only worthwhile if you’re planning on replacing humans with them. They’ve already replaced people too much.

This is a "moderately’ useful tool if you are paralyzed 100% from the waste down and just want to get up and go for a short stroll. It’s understandable that this is new tech and better things are coming, but it’s doubtful this will be a lot of use by those in a chair once they see its limitations.
I’m waiting for the day when they come up with a system that will let someone like myself who only has paralysis from the knees walk and stand still without canes or crutches. That would be a leap for people with injured legs, one sided paralysis from stroke or spinal injury, etc. who could very possibly get back to an almost normal lifestyle if they could stand with stability.

    2本脚に拘る必要はないのでは?
    もっと安定感のある4本以上の脚にすれば当事者も動きやすいのではないか
