Game consoles are expensive, but for a while I would consistently get game systems for cheap in order to resell in stores. Here is how I would get current consoles for less than a brand new game.

This actually looks like something I can see myself learning to do on the side not only because I love video games but seems like it would be fun. Thanks man. 💯

I bought a purple regular Nintendo 3ds, sold to me for $20 that was not booting, but was told it was an "easy fix". It seemed like it wasn’t, it was tampered with and the middle chassis holding the battery was completely ruined, and it was bricked beyond repair. I saw another one a year later, priced at $10 dollars. Issue with this one was that the top screen didn’t work. I bought it not knowing if it read games or if buttons worked, etc. I swapped motherboards with the first one I bought and boom. I had a working 3ds. Sold it for $60. I also bought a PS3 super slim for $20 blindly, not knowing if it worked since it was just the console. I used cords I had at home(HDMI, power supply cord) and sold it for $90 with a fixed controller a friend gave me because it was broken. You can really make money this way, or get the best deal out there.

Do you have any advise to fix my PS4. I used to play a lot in it, but I had suddenly stopped playing, a couple of months later turned it on for the first time i noticed it being very very slow. The icons of apps took a lot of time to load and when I used the joystick to select the app I wanted to use, it moved a couple of seconds later, it was like a very slow computer. I noticed it was gradually getting slower to the point when it doesn’t even show the logo or anything there is just a black screen. But I can manage to enter safe mode every time and I have tried every single option there is, it has been erased multiple times now. Please is there anything that I can do to fix it.

Lead solder is really really bad for you. If you’re using it make sure you have good ventilation. It destroys your body

  12. Yoshi G on August 27, 2019 at 2:04 pm

Is there a book or manual that you look at for repairs

  13. chizukichan on August 27, 2019 at 2:05 pm

Spawn Wave Would you be interested in doing a video collaboration with other YouTubers in support of right to repair? I was thinking if enough reputable "influencers" that know how to repair electronics and mechanical assemblies spoke about this subject and what the opposition says, it would provide more information for those not well versed in the subject to educate themselves. If it was recorded, it could be showed to lawmakers that are on the fence about repairs and the need for access to replacement parts.

  21. Paul hellios on August 27, 2019 at 2:15 pm

you cant fix every problem to a non working ps4 or xbox because no one has the shematics ms and sony wont release those to a public view and even if you think sometimes is fixible guess what sometimes the problem maby worst than you thought.

  22. Ccrazy cwb on August 27, 2019 at 2:17 pm

  23. Grey Fox on August 27, 2019 at 2:17 pm

Got a ps2 and nes back in the day from friends that didn’t wanna take time with them and considered trash. The ps2 , Sony fixed for free and the nes just cleaned the inside out and worked like a charm.

Very nice, informative video, with those with the skill and brave enough to try and repair your consoles.

I can vouch for audible, I’ve been an audible user for over 2 years and it is great. The audibooks are a bit on the expensive side, but if you get the kindle version they usually go for just 9 bucks.

I’m having a hard time with an Xbox 360 slim I’m trying to repair. The console will not turn on by the power button, only by the the eject button. The the power supply turns to green when the console turns on and stays green. The power button on the faceplate will flash green about 7 times then turn red.

Another HUGE thing to look for is physically damaged consoles. You can get fully functioning consoles cosmetic with damage to the shell for super cheap, and even replace the shell with one from a non-functioning console.
