That player is sweet!
Send that B&O to me Pete! Please!!!! OMG that is sexy as hell. As for the colored toner, sell them as sets.
It’s gorgeous. I am on the hunt for one.
You’re absolutely right on target about developing and maintaining relationships with others and its not just about for sourcing products to resell. There is a shop in the commercial strip near my home which receives a large number of deliveries each week. These product deliveries result in a large amount of reusable bubble wrap, foam peanuts and small boxes which the shop owner has to discard. While he maintains a great practice of recycling, donating and reusing as much of the packaging as possible, he is still left with large bags of bubble wrap and small boxes which he has to tear down to recycle.
While in his shop one day, they had just received a delivery and were opening up a small box of product samples when I inquired about the box and if I could have it, as it was the perfect size that I am always in need of. As it turns out, they had a small heap of them in the back, along with two large bags of bubble wrap. By having inquired about the small box which was just going to be broken down and recycled, I now have a resource for free packaging materials for items which I resell on eBay and other platforms. The shop owner in turn can better use his time tending to his store by not having to break down the dozens of boxes he receives each week and having to go to a packaging store to donate the foam peanuts.
Develop and maintain your business relationships/partnerships, it benefits both parties!
Great video! could you do a video explaining shipping of these big items you sell.
I believe the B&O stereo is from the early to mid 1990s. It looks similar to one my mom had in her house mounted on the wall. She had speakers throughout the house.
The sound of that stereo was particularly good quality.
If I ran across something like that, I would seriously keep it too, unless I had something equally nice.
Great find! And yes! Making connections, meeting new friends and business associates is the best use of YouTube!
I like your show! It’s much like shopping at salvage and thrift stores, without actually doing it.
That mixer is incredible! The right person would pay a bundle for that!
I love seeing the older electronics in great condition! That motorcycle helmet is kewl too!
You trade in the most interesting things, and I love your accent! It reminds me of a family member who’s gone, and who I miss dearly. He was from Hungary, and was also a businessman.
Love your show & your shop! If i ever make it out your way, I’ll have to stop by! Great to support smaller businesses! Prices are better too!
The Fender Stratocaster is beautiful! I bought my son one when he was younger. They have great sound! How much do you want for it?
That is a cool piece of electronics Pete!
If you’re going to keep that B&O center for yourself, you need to get a B&O Beogram TX2 turntable. I think it would make a nice matching set.
I cringed every time that blade got close to that vintage B&O beauty. What a find!
I’ve worked for Konica Minolta for 17 yrs. You’ve got some toner, and older drums units. Customers get toner for free with service contract. May sell to someone that doesn’t have contract. Drums are open…I would be suspicious of them. Love your channel!
Pete…thank you so much for your videos. I took much of your advice and became a better seller and picker. Awesome find there with the 9500 unit!!!
yes put your head in the chemical vat
Margo and Todd the Christmas Vacation neighbors had that stereo that got wre ked by an icicle.
Now that there is studio quality !!!
I’ve owned a lot of Bang & Olufsen gear. There isn’t really an "On" setting. You just pick the function you want, and it plays. It isn’t really "Off" either, it’s just in standby. It is always on, unless you unplug it from power.
Sell this pile of metal before I get back! Oh yea and sell it for "Good Money" too. Lol
Heads up, an old video game system turbo grapx 16 used sells for about $150, but they’re releasing a new unit in January for $99 new. If you have any sell them soon
My parents are moving so i get this 1 inclusief the big boxes from Them. No it isnt the high quality but the looks are awesone
Should I buy this in mint condition for $250??? is it worth it just the beocenter 9500
I seen that thing on Breaking Bad, it’s for cooking meth.
You like vintage, how about Saras 3-way Studio Towers ST200βs original cost $3K pair. Built by survivor of Polish camps, who worked with Kenwood and EPS?150W 3-ways.
Pete you never cease to amaze me! I am soooo envious right now! That stereo is awesome !
I have a Tyros 5, picked it up for $2,000, what a sound system indeed. The customer was sentenced to 1 yr in jail for a 3rd DUI. He liquidated alot of possessions. I was happy to oblige
Love the ship! Thanks for another great video Pete!
That was a great score for both of you. I work at a cabinet factory and that drum is what they keep the paint and stain in. Iβm sure there are probably food grade uses for them too. Love watching your videos because you never know what you guys are going to come up with. π
I would keep the bang and olufsen no doubt about it. too cool to loose.
Ohh id love that. ok you twisted my arm $50 and free shipping . nice stereo
Hi. I have a Beocenter 9500 and it’s absolutely great. That’s a really good find you came across and well worth keeping. It can use either conventional passive speakers or B&O (Beolab) active speakers. A classic piece of B&O hifi and an iconic design. The polished alu finish really sets it off but be aware these can scratch easily . Recommend you get a remote for it, either a Beo 4 or Beolink 1000, both easily available on EBay. Enjoy.
That’s what you call coloured vinyl. Funny how it disappeared for a while. Now THATS a music system.
RTFM
Amazing machine
these were way overpriced in the 80s..not a bad unit but it was more for show then real music listening.
Pete hang on to that player for a little while and I smelled the stainless steel container and it’s also food grade
Thank you for all the information and sharing your finds, and life. It’s fun to watch and learn…. community is important when building a business.
Sweet. You got to love Bang and Olufsen.
Love that stereo. Reminds me of the one the neighbors had in Christmas Vacation.
Hey pete my mother inlaw has that same unit with speakers what can she get for it or should she get for it?
I’m pretty sure you can hang that B&O system on a wall for even more wow factor. Add bluetooth to it, and get some old school B&O speakers to go with it. I think some of them had a motion sensor so that if you waved over it you could bring the unit out of standby…. it’s worth looking into.
How thats an awsome piece of equipment! I picked up an older stype Beocenter that I just sold on ebay, but love the one you had with the CD and the electric sliding doors. Really cool, dont blame you for keeping it! Great video as always Pete
Enjoy your vacation, Adrien! π Thanks for another fantasticly entertaining and educational video, Pete! π 100,000 SUBSCRIBERS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!! You should be remarkably proud.
That CD Cassette player is legit, never seen anything like that. Nice pickup.
I remember seeing one of these systems in a massive department store in Birmingham uk (Rackhams) many years ago, I was like 10 – 12 , some 31-35 years ago ish.
It was linked with 2 slim tower speakers (B&O beovox penta 6611) like 5 ft high which had digital readouts on the front centre.
The whole package was Β£12-Β£15k back then??!!
Amazing bit of kit, I was mesmerized
Awesome! Thanks for sharing
Love the segments on vintage electronics! But this one was great! Enjoy!
That is one sweet stereo, amazing tech for the age it was.
Old B&O stuff is sold for peanuts here in Denmark. Check out http://www.dba.dk (Danish version of Craigslist) for some great deals.
nice! I got one of those Beocenters (including the remote) at a swap meet for $100 bucks a few years ago. unfortunately the tape side doesn’t work, but CDs sound great!
Dude! Bang & Olsen has always had some very stylish units. Wished my mom kept her CD player from back in the days.
I have the exact same one in perfect condition & it still works great! π
Literally exact same one I inherited from my dad when he died a few years ago….in the 90’s it was his pride & joy!
The fact it has a CD player & was made way back then is insane!
That system is quite an advertisement for the company Bang & Olufsen! π€
Dude! That digital piece looks just like the βstereoβ that gets destroyed by the ice in the movie Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase. That thing is a killer find!
