  2. Tony Benites on April 12, 2020 at 2:59 pm

Bill, you missed quite a few of the fake news talking points. Smoke a little less weed and do your homework. This will help you look a little less like an idiot.

  3. A-SALT on April 12, 2020 at 2:59 pm

……oh our country(that’s to the private big pharma!) Is a country of treating not curing or preventing the causes of any thing!!! Job security for big pharma indeed!

  5. Joy of Poverty on April 12, 2020 at 3:02 pm

The US may not need Bernie, but it 100% needs BernieCare. Bernie’s health care plan would heal America faster than any other social intervention. And as this pandemic makes clear, it is way cheaper than any alternative.

  6. Trent Armitage on April 12, 2020 at 3:04 pm

America, you really missed a golden opportunity here. He wasn’t going to turn your country “communist” , but he sure would’ve helped put hope back into people’s lives.

with Mr. Sander out of race, Trump now has a very high chance of re elected.

  14. Ryan Archibald on April 12, 2020 at 3:10 pm

Bernie was weak and dropped out. Its unfortunate and the sad reality is that Trump stood up for Bernie more than Bernie stood up for Bernie.

All we ever heard from Bernie in the debates was what a great friend Joe Biden was and how Biden could beat Trump. Meanwhile Biden’s concessions to Bernie bros being the Medicare age being lowered to 60 when Hilary’s plan was 55 lol

  15. Tony Benites on April 12, 2020 at 3:10 pm

This guy is a total loser and anyone who votes for him or any democrat is either a beggar or a fool. With his policies, this country would make Venezuela look like a vacation.

  16. Dan Dinkha on April 12, 2020 at 3:12 pm

This man never held a real job in his life, yet he has audacity to tell us working people how and where to spend our money.

  17. lisa lisa on April 12, 2020 at 3:13 pm

I have always loved Bernie’s enthusiasm, and staunch defense of his position, of service to the common person. I am truly saddened that he had to back out of his campaign. I wasn’t surprised, sadly. I don’t think this country is ready to embrace ideas as bold and progressive as his are. I pray that he stays in service for a long, Long while!❤️❤️❤️❤️

  18. Kevin Billingsley on April 12, 2020 at 3:14 pm

Bernie is not saying it’s wise to do this. He’s saying the situation sucks and it’s less wise to not do it. Are we seriously willing to entertain the possible collapse of American society because the alternative wasn’t fair to rich people?

  19. Nic Cook on April 12, 2020 at 3:16 pm

Great job Bill! Keep making the connection between food choices and our failing healthcare system! We need our politicians to address this issue.

  22. SmokinJoe347 on April 12, 2020 at 3:19 pm

The government always seem to find hundreds of millions of dollars for more military equipment they don’t need, but they can’t save their own people!

  23. Cody Weidner on April 12, 2020 at 3:20 pm

And THIS is why he is not even able to run for President! He is a Senile, Delusional socialist! So everyone gets FULL PAY while not working and ALL their bills STOP, and then what, Who is going to pay for this INSANITY (-OH-) We just Print some More Worthless Money. He should go into Comedy! He has never had a Real job, AND his bid for President of the U.S. .. that chits Funny as it gets!

This is even better since he dropped out. 🤣🤣🤣

  26. Sherri M on April 12, 2020 at 3:23 pm

Senator Sanders will not be the POTUS. VP Joe Biden and his chosen Vice President 2020 probably will… America is such a troubled country, the hate whether from the TROLLS or Sanders followers, is disgusting. Senator Sanders didn’t win in 2016 and didn’t win in 2020, the Onus is on him not Biden. Peace!

    From Britain,
    Americans do yourself,
and to some extent the rest of the world a favour,
Berny Sanders is the obvious choice to lead USA in 2020…

  45. wrv341 on April 12, 2020 at 3:51 pm

Brilliant!: print money for everyone at full paycheck until whenever, make companies produce things they probably can’t (but Trump’s the dictator), give healthcare to all so there is no financial consequence to treating your body like shit, but mandate that they treat their body like he wants them to, (again, Trump’s the dictator?), and as far as the virus goes, do whatever Trump has already done except give states stuff they don’t need as much as others to spread our resources thin fairly. Boy, I’m surprised this guy was slaughtered in the primary and dropped out…

  46. Skyler Smith on April 12, 2020 at 3:51 pm

  49. Erik W on April 12, 2020 at 3:54 pm

Bill Maher keeps repeating the establishment talking points without thinking about how idiotic they are. "That will cost a lot" is just a variation on "How are we going to pay for it?". The multi trillion dollar bailout for banks and big corporations using money "created out of thin air" should be a clue that the government can and does create money to help the wealthy and powerful. It isn’t a question of funding. The government has virtually unlimited funds. Even assuming that you want to "pay for it" then our military spending is ridiculously high, and cuts to fund Bernie’s programs wouldn’t even inconvenience the military.

But the most absurd thing to question on the basis of funding is Medicare For All. Americans spend over twice as much for health insurance and care as any other country. The difference is our citizens pay more money to private corporations, instead of paying less for healthcare through taxes. Medicare For All makes health insurance and care cost less, so it would replace private payments to corporations by citizens with lower payments as taxes. The private payments are eliminated, so citizens save money. It is dishonest to ask how we are going to pay for a less expensive health care system. It is also dishonest to say that Medicare For All will increase taxes, because those increased taxes are more than paid for by eliminating money citizens already pay to private insurance companies and health care providers. Citizens will pay less money for taxes and health care than they do now for taxes and health care. You have to combine those two expenses to get an accurate picture of how Medicare For All saves citizens money. It works like this. Do you want to pay your private insurance company $2000 in premiums, deductibles, co-payments and out of pocket expenses, or do you want to pay $800 in taxes instead for better care. It is dishonest to ask, "Do you want your taxes to increase by $800 to insure everyone in the country?" That leaves out the fact that your $2000 health care payments to private corporations are eliminated too.

Bernie is such a tool. He has no answers.
