Great video, love these collabs!
Where’s the RGB?
phffttt no RGB !!!!!!!!!
Aliens watching this: Look at these peasants and their shitty rockets.
Our ships make their rockets look like ancient dinosaurs.
The apollo CPU tech was literally lightyears ahead of the curb
What? No RGB? You call this a computer?
Can it run CSGO?
Where is rgb
It will take 71429 of those to make 14kb core memory to make 2gb of memory. I have no idea how much power it would take if you run windows on that
I have to admit to passing this video up a few times. I don’t know why. It was amazing. I can’t believe it has so few views.
Saturn V Rocket: So this is the cooling system.
Linus: **Geek noises intensifies**
Great video’s, both of the Smarter vids are really interesting. Watching Luke describe hte methodology was really interesting.
Wow, a hand woven RAM….such a stedy hands that the asembler have. Those RAM have more value than the current RAM that we used today. if only the US give yet another funding to NASA to be at least create some moon base with the current computer tech, that would be awesome.
I was waiting for linus to drop it
Soo…it can’t run Minecraft?
so….. that mean i have more computing power wrap at my wrist, than those guys had flying on that multi-million dolar gigantic bomb(controled to not explode)??? well…..fuck….. talk about balls of steel
Where is the rgb ??!!
but does it have RGB?
Like a goddamn kid at christmas xD
I want to see a custom gaming rig replica build!
Loved watching Linus in student mode on SmarterEveryDay2!
@Linus Great summery!
Why does the thing in the back look like a echo dot 6:05
The real question is can it run Crysis?
My gosh… this is a real piece of engineering
It’s amazing, I work on aircraft and I have seen those EXACT SAME CANNON PLUGS in my systems that I work on. Granted now they’re mostly self locking, but I have seen ones you have to secure with wire as well. The technology has advanced and we use fewer wires but the connectors don’t change much even after 50 years.
the other side of that hammer 😀
That gyroscope mechanism is really amazing. Wow. Also, imagine organizing all of those wires for the command computers. Wowie.
Dam no RGB?
but can it run Crysis
this episode is nearly the best in 2019 linus tech tips
I watched all 3 videos, what a great overview of computing of the time, really brought back my early days learning electronics in the Navy.
So how does the Gyroskopes work in space when there is no Gravitation from a Space Object that can pull the weight down in a Gyroskope ?
2/10 rig no RGB no watercooling. I bet it can’t even run crysis LOL
Linus you really should become the next Bill Nye.
How do I play Minecraft on this?
This is almost as far fetched as that color TV thing some guy was telling me about. Space ships and color TV, yea right.
if u believe in such thing..says linus while making video of the rocket that did it they say🤣🤣🤣🤣
At least Linus didn’t drop it
No RGB? Really? What was that Luke guy thinking in his twenties??!
so advanced, yet so ghetto
Thanks for coming to Alabama Linus! Dang good job explaining the computer…. especially the power systems and the heat management system. I had honestly never thought about these for the Saturn V. For those asking, I’m currently in Germany on a last minute trip so I didn’t get to finish my video yet. Coming soon!
Enjoyed this, I’ve been there several times as a kid, but haven’t had the time as an adult. It actually brought back memories. Thank you @LinusTechTips and @SmarterEveryDay
rockets and computers. Literally what I’m going to school for! I love this stuff! Aerospace Programmers, where you at?!?!
Its a good thing Linus didn’t Steer/pilot Saturn V. Knowing him, he would’ve dropped it- right out of atmosphere.
the other side of that hammer 😀
Finnally, a Computer "Nerd" talking about Rockets
Hey Linus! I wish I could have met you, I was there the same day as you, and even thinl that I saw you their.
0:43 that test bench looks both like an FNAF-style animatronic and a giant weird maybe cuphead boss style mug.
Go to the moon.
i did not know that linus was that small
No rgb?
